Amazon Rewards Wishlist Giveaway Contest Underway!

Since I would love to see more of your smiling faces in the google followers boxes in the right sidebar, I've decided to have a little contest/giveaway to encourage more readers to follow this blog.

If you're already a follower that's great and you'll be included in this as well so don't go anywhere.
If you're an email subscriber, but not a follower just click the follow button so I can see you there as well.

Here's what you need to do after you follow this blog.......

Leave a comment below that answers this question:

If you could purchase just one item from your Amazon Wishlist what would it be and why?
If you haven't started an Amazon Wishlist yet then this would be the perfect time to start thinking about what you would put on that list.  Some electronic gadget you or your spouse have wanted but haven't been able to purchase? Maybe some cool toy your kids have asked for as a birthday or holiday gift? Or, maybe something practical to help make your life easier like a new vaccuum or kitchen appliance to replace that old broken one.

So go make your wishlist and then pick one item and tell me why you chose it in the comment section below. All comments will be read and one will be chosen at random.

If I choose your comment I'll email you a $5 Amazon reward code to help you purchase that item.

1) You must follow this blog.

2) You must leave an appropriate answer to the contest question in the comment section. (all comments are moderated and inappropriate language or spam type comments will disqualify the comment)

3) Contest will close when this blog reaches 50 followers and this post receives 50 comments.

4) Winner will be chosen within 7 days of contest closure.

5) Winner's name/username(nickname) will be posted on this blog and also on Twitter.  You can follow me on Twitter at (this is not a requirement for contest entry)

5) Winner must contact me at within 30 days of name being posted and supply me with a valid email address to send the Amazon reward code to.

6) If no contact is made within 30 days winner forfeits the prize and another winner will be chosen.
In the meantime, browse my other posts and take advantage of the info and links to sites that will pay you in Amazon rewards. If you do, you'll be that much closer to ordering that special item on your Amazon Wishlist and possibly $5 richer!

Here's the question again ---

If you could purchase just one item from your Amazon Wishlist what would it be and why?

  1. Well, a month ago I would have answerd the Sony Reader, but thanks to Swagbucks (LOOOOVE SWAGBUCKS!!!!) I already have one. So, I think I'd go with the Apple iPad Tablet (64GB, Wifi). That looks like it would be fun! Either that or a whole bunch of new books for my girls! We are homeschooling this year, and it seems we can't get enough fun books to read.

  2. I am following!
I would purchase a gift for someone.

Why? I LOVE Swagbucks and have earned $100 in Amazon Cards just for gifts (at Christmas/Birthdays) so I would add that to my gift fund :)

    Thanks for linking up today!

  3. I would like to purchase the Melissa and Doug Princess Castle for my Daughters. Their birthdays are coming up and this looks like a great toy that will last them a long time.

  4. I would love to gett the cricut from my wishlist! Here is for hoping!

  5. Following - I'd buy a Bob Duallie Double Jogger

  6. I have gotten addicted to downloading books onto my Kindle. It's such a great invention.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a great comment. I so agree with you on all points.

  7. Thanks to all who've followed and commented to enter this contest. Can you share this blogpost with followers and friends so we can get the 50 entries sooner and pick a winner sooner? Thanks for any help you can provide. Best of luck to you all!

  8. I would so upgrade my kindle to the new one. I LOVE my DX kindle ( the bigger screen one) but can not justify getting the new one even if it does look way cooler! I think I have actually saved cash by buying the old one with all the great ebooks that are always free there!

  9. The one and only thing on my wish list is a Sony PS3 250GB. Sounds like a crazy wish, however, in January our house was broken into and my PS3 was stolen and has not been recovered. It may just be a gaming system, but it was my stress relief.

  10. On my wishlist: a large poster I have been wanting.

so, I guess that'd be it lol

  11. On my wishlist is the Oster Classic Beehive Blender! Im saving up swagbucks for Amazon gcs, but it is quite slow without referrals, so any other chance to earn Amazon gcs is awesome!

    Thanks for the chance!

  12. Hello bestmommy, I am so glad I found your site and am looking forward to exploring it more. I got here from one of my many clickety clickety sidetracks.
I always look on Amazon before I buy anything from anywhere else. They are absolutely the best and can't wait to learn more about how to shop there. Since I am always sidetracked and saving and downloading I would have to say that I would love some kind of electronic that I could use for this purpose. Like screen-shots of printable receipts, touching blog-posts, ebooks, etc. I would have said a Kindle a few days ago but, I don't just save ebooks; I do all the stuff I just mentioned so it would be really cool to have some sort of organizer that also read ebooks. That way I'm not filling up my DH's laptop and making him growl @ me:)
Thanks for the opportunity to enter your sweepstakes. Great Job on your Blog. KUTGW

  13. I want an iTouch!!!

    Jessica/The Debt Princess

  14. oh the new shark steam mop, it's on my wish list and i want one so bad! with my daughter in college money is so tight i can't afford one right now.
    i'm also a follower

  15. I would LOVE an iPad Tablet! But we'd have to mortgage our house to afford one...:) Well it is a Wish List isn't it ... :)

  16. That's easy. I'd want a Kindle. I love reading anytime I get the chance, which isn't too often, with so many little ones to take care of. But I grab the chance whenever. I'd love to be able to just have all my "books" stored in there so that when I go to the doctor or on long car rides with my husband and kids, I could just take that and then decide what I wanted to read. However, I can't really afford one at the moment since I have kids and their needs come first. :)

  17. DIAPERS! Diapers are always on my wishlist! :-)

  18. Right now the one item I want from my Amazon wishlist is the Gold Package for Need for Speed World... I'm a avid gamer and I love racing games.

  19. I would buy a silver chain and heart pendant.. I always wanted something like that, the exchange rates are too high for me to afford. It's on my wishlist and I am working towards the goal.. Thank you for creating this blog and the give away. :))

    Love and light
